Trust and Transparency

Recognition is only worth anything if it can be trusted. So we hold ourselves to standards you can see, and everything we issue can be confirmed by anyone.

Our commitment

Standards you can hold us to

Business Magnates is an independent recognition body for entrepreneurs. Because our whole purpose is to be a source people can rely on, we operate in the open, state plainly what our recognition means, and make every credential confirmable. These are the principles behind everything we do.

The thesis

Why transparency matters for a recognition body

A recognition body's only real value is trust. The moment people cannot rely on what our recognition means, it is worth nothing, to us and to everyone who earned it. That is why transparency is not a nicety for us, it is the product. We show our standards, state our limits, and make everything confirmable, because recognition that hides how it works cannot be trusted, and recognition that cannot be trusted is pointless.

What we stand for

Our principles

  • Independence

Our recognition reflects our own review against our own standards, never an applicant's ability to buy a result, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by other bodies.

  • Honesty

We are clear about what our recognition is and is not, and we never overstate it or imply authority we do not have.

  • Selectivity

We decline applications that do not meet our criteria, because recognition that everyone receives is worth nothing.

  • Verifiability

Everything we issue can be independently confirmed through our registry. Recognition you cannot check is recognition you cannot trust.

  • No pay to win

Payment covers our review, not the outcome. You cannot buy a guaranteed result, which is exactly what keeps the recognition meaningful.

Honest framing

What we are, and what we are not

We are

  • An independent recognition body for entrepreneurs
  • A real review that confirms genuine legitimacy
  • A credential anyone can confirm
  • Transparent about our scope and limits

We are not

  • A government, legal, or immigration authority
  • A guarantee of clients, funding, or success
  • A badge sold to anyone who pays
  • Affiliated with or endorsed by other organizations
How it works

How recognition is earned, and how you confirm it

Our recognition is granted through a real review, never sold. You can read the full process in how verification works, which sets out exactly what we check and what we will not do. And because trust depends on proof, anyone can independently confirm a credential through our verify tool at any time. If you want to know who we are as an organization, see our about page.

What a credential is, and is not

A Business Magnates credential is independent recognition that you are a genuine, legitimate entrepreneur, confirmable by anyone. It is not a government, legal, or immigration document, and it is not a promise of business outcomes. We state this plainly so no one is ever misled about what our recognition represents.

Our promises

What we commit to

To the entrepreneurs we recognize

  • A fair, consistent review against the same standards for everyone
  • Honest representation that never overstates your recognition
  • Responsible handling of the information you share

To the public who rely on us

  • Accuracy, we recognize only those who genuinely qualify
  • Confirmability, anyone can check any credential we issue
  • No misleading claims of authority or association
Accountability

How we handle mistakes

We are run by people, and people can get things wrong. When we do, we want to correct it. If a credential is inaccurate, if someone is misusing our recognition, or if we have made an error, tell us and we will review it and put it right. A body that cannot admit and fix mistakes does not deserve trust, so accountability is part of our standard, not an afterthought.

How to raise a concern

If you have a concern about the accuracy of a credential, someone misusing our recognition, or our conduct, we want to know. Email us at info@businessmagnates.com and we will review it. For general guidance on evaluating any organization, independent consumer resources such as the Federal Trade Commission can also help. Holding a recognition body accountable is fair, and we welcome it.
